WHAT IT SOLVES

For spaces that cannot be closed for a week

Downtime you cannot afford

An epoxy build can hold a space for the better part of a week. A polyaspartic system typically installs in a single day, so the room comes back the next morning.

UV exposure and yellowing

Polyaspartic is UV stable, so it holds its colour in areas that see daylight, where some coating systems amber over time.

Schedules that will not wait

The cure is fast, which matters when the programme has no slack and the space has to be released on a fixed date.

CHOOSING A SYSTEM

Polyaspartic or epoxy

They solve different constraints. The question is usually how long the space can be out of service, and what the floor is actually exposed to.

Choose polyaspartic when

The space cannot be down for long, the floor sees daylight, or the schedule will not tolerate a multi-day build.

Choose epoxy when

The priority is chemical resistance and film build rather than turnaround, and the area can stay closed while the system cures.

HOW A PROJECT RUNS

Four steps, start to handoff

01

Site assessment

We walk the slab, check its condition, test for moisture where it matters, and give you a clear scope with no vague line items.

02

Surface preparation

The slab is ground or blasted to the required profile. A fast cure does not remove the need for proper preparation.

03

Single-day install

Coats go down in sequence through the day, phased so the space is released as planned.

04

Next-morning traffic

Most systems take foot traffic the following morning, with heavier traffic timing depending on the system specified.

Common questions about polyaspartic coatings

How fast can we use the floor?

Most systems install in a single day and take foot traffic the next morning. Timing for heavier traffic depends on the system specified.

Is polyaspartic better than epoxy?

Neither is better outright. Polyaspartic wins on turnaround and UV stability. Epoxy wins on film build and chemical resistance.

Does it still need full preparation?

Yes. A fast cure does not change the bond requirement. The slab is ground or blasted to profile before anything goes down.

Will it yellow in daylight?

Polyaspartic is UV stable, which is exactly why it gets specified in areas that see natural light.
