Commercial Concrete Services
All West Surface Prep delivers commercial concrete services for general contractors, facility managers, warehouses, retail spaces and industrial plants. However you specify the floor, the work below is delivered by our own crews and equipment.
If you are not sure which system your slab needs, start with a site assessment. We can scope it against the flooring or coating that actually has to go down.
The concrete services we deliver
- Concrete Surface Preparation — Grinding, shot blasting and scarifying to the ICRI CSP profile the next coating or flooring system requires.
- Concrete Polishing — Mechanically polished concrete for warehouses, retail and industrial floors. Because the finish is mechanical rather than a coating, it wears in instead of peeling.
- Epoxy Coatings — Chemical-resistant epoxy systems for shops, warehouses and food service floors where the slab takes abuse.
- Polyaspartic Coatings — Fast-cure coatings for occupied facilities. Many systems cure in a single day, so the space is back in service before the next shift.
- Concrete Floor Leveling — Flattening high spots and filling low spots so finish flooring lands flat, which matters most on tenant build-outs and renovations.
- Concrete Moisture Mitigation — In-situ relative humidity testing and moisture vapor barriers that prevent flooring failures before they start.
- Concrete Densifying & Sealing — Densifiers harden warehouse and industrial concrete so it stops dusting, staining and wearing, without a full coating system.
- Concrete Joint Filling & Caulking — Filling expansion and control joints so hard-wheel traffic stops chipping the edges.
- Concrete Shot Blasting — Blastrac shot blasting for slabs too large or too contaminated to grind, leaving a CSP 3 to CSP 6 profile.
- Concrete Grinding — Diamond tooling for high spots, edges, coating and adhesive removal, and polish prep, with HEPA dust control.
- Concrete Dust Control & Dustproofing — Aggressive dust containment on every project, because a clean worksite keeps your facility, your tenants and your other trades working.
How we scope a project
Because every slab is different, we start with condition, size and the finish you need. Typically that means checking moisture, contamination and flatness before anyone quotes a number. For specification guidance, see the American Concrete Institute.
Where we provide concrete services
Generally we work throughout Colorado, including the Denver metro area, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Commerce City, Thornton, Westminster and Arvada. We travel for larger industrial projects across the Rocky Mountain region.
Start a project
Send us the slab size, the current condition and the finish you need. Therefore we can come back with scope, sequencing and a number. Request an estimate to get started.
