Harden the slab you already have
A bare concrete floor dusts, absorbs oil and stains, and wears at the surface. A lithium or sodium silicate densifier reacts inside the concrete to harden it and cut dusting, and a sealer adds stain and abrasion resistance on top. For a lot of warehouse and back-of-house floors, this is the practical answer: a tougher, cleaner slab without the downtime or price of a coating system.

We grind or clean the slab first if it needs it, apply the densifier to penetrate and harden, then seal for the surface protection the room needs. What does densifying concrete do?
