Tile lippage, hollow spots and furniture that rocks usually trace back to a slab that was never flat. Levelling fixes the cause rather than the symptom.
High spots and dips
Grinding takes the high points down and self-levelling underlayment fills the low ones, so the whole floor lands within the tolerance the finish flooring needs.
Tight build-out schedules
Tenant improvements and renovations rarely have slack in the programme. Levelling is scheduled so the finish flooring trade can start on time.
Grinding, underlayment, or both
Levelling is not one product. What the slab needs depends on how far out of tolerance it is and what is going down on top of it.
Grinding high spots
Where the slab is only slightly out, diamond grinding the high points is faster and cheaper than placing material across the whole area.
Self-levelling underlayment
Where there are real dips, or the flatness tolerance is tight, a self-levelling underlayment is placed to bring the whole floor true.

Preparation
The slab is prepared and primed so the underlayment bonds, with high spots ground down first where that is the better answer.
Place and level
Self-levelling underlayment is placed and worked to the specified tolerance across the area.
Handoff to flooring
The floor is handed off flat and on schedule, ready for the finish flooring trade to start.

How flat does the floor need to be?
That is set by the finish flooring manufacturer rather than by us. We confirm the required tolerance before quoting so the slab is prepared to the right standard.
Do you pour new concrete?
Levelling places self-levelling underlayment over the existing slab rather than pouring a new one. The concrete already in the building stays.
Can you level a warehouse floor?
Yes. Large open slabs are routine work, and grinding the high points is often the practical approach across big areas.
How long before flooring can go down?
It depends on the product used and the conditions in the building. We confirm the cure window with the scope so the following trade can schedule around it.
